After graduating from film school in 2009, Yohan starts working in the movie industry as a camera crew member on feature films, music videos and short movies.

In 2015, with the collaboration of Vianney Griffon, he moved to directing and together they made the action-epic-drama “The Fall of Men”, a 28 minute short movie who premiered at the Los Angeles Comic Con.

In 2016 the movie won by an unanimous jury the Ibis D’Or at the Music and Cinéma Film Festival of La Baule, France. Five years after the release online, the movie reached more than 50 million views and is still shared all around the world.

In 2018, Yohan Faure directed “Orage Par Ciel Clair” (Thunder From A Clear Sky), a short movie produced by Studio Off-Courts and Spira Films, shot in Quebec, Canada. The screenplay was written by Erwan Ripoll who adapted it from a story made by Yohan. The movie premiered on the National French TV France 2 on the Short Stories TV Show in September 2018.

The next month “Orage Par Ciel Clair” wins the prestigious award Méliès d’Argent for Best European Fantastic Short at the Science+Fiction Festival of Trieste.

In 2019, Yohan wrote a music album entitled “Setec Astronomy” for artist Cab Named Creekex and shot all the tracks as a conceptual movie depicted the entire musical journey made by singer Maxence Debacker.

In 2020, he wrote “Un Océan de Secrets”, an audiobook recorded with the amazing voice of Bernard Métraux.

He is working right now with Award-winner screenwriter Bahareh Azimi on his feature debut.
